Janet studied art at the University of Maryland. She has over thirty years of experience designing and manufacturing fine jewelry from the wholesale level of selling loose diamonds and gemstones, finished goods, casting, custom design and repair services, to managing and staffing small independent and large corporate chain jewelry stores.
Janet has owned and operated Starfire Designs since 1992.
